Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to read the registry?
No. Anyone can read every published entry without logging in.
Do I need an account to file something?
Yes. Accounts are requested, not signed up for. Every request is reviewed manually by the operator.
Why do you want a photo of me?
To confirm a real person is behind the account. The photo must show you holding a note with today's date and the exact username you are registering, with your face visible. It is never published, is visible only to the operator, and is deleted if you close your account.
How long does approval take?
There is one person reviewing, so it varies. You will be emailed when your account is approved.
How do I actually file something?
Follow the seven steps in How to file. In short: platform, country letter, country, city letter, city, person, then press Create case.
Why can't I edit a page after I created it?
By design. Once a page exists, contributors cannot change it — not even their own. It means no account can quietly alter or erase what is already in the registry. If something needs adding or correcting, email palindromayd@trans-gov.net with the page or case number.
What counts as evidence?
A source someone else can check: the address of the page itself, Send the link with the complaint inside your case; The operator preserves an independent archived copy, so the record holds even if the original is taken down.
Why is my case not showing up?
Cases are held for review. Yours is saved but not public until the operator has read and published it. If it was declined, it did not meet the rules in the Terms of Service.
Can I report someone under 18?
No. Entries document adults only. This applies no matter who is submitting, including if you are under 18 yourself. If a minor is involved, take it directly to the police or a child-protection authority — they can act on it without a child's identity being published anywhere.
Can I contribute if I am under 18?
Only with a parent or legal guardian present and consenting.
Can I delete something I submitted?
No. Once a submission is approved it is part of the public record and you have no control over its removal. See the Copyrights page — do not submit anything you are not prepared to hand over permanently.
Something on this site about me is wrong.
Write to palindromayd@trans-gov.net. Identify the entry and say what is wrong and why. Requests are read in good faith, and anything shown to be false or unsupported is corrected or removed. You may also send a response to be recorded.
Is my email address public?
No. Your email address and verification photo are visible only to the operator. Your username is what appears in page histories.
What if the incident did not happen on social media?
Use Real-World Incidents on the main page — that branch covers employers, landlords, public officials, institutions and individuals with no account attached.
Who runs this?
May Adelaide, personally. Every entry is reviewed and published by her, and she takes responsibility for what appears here. See About and the Terms of Service.
