Disclaimer
Please read this disclaimer together with the Terms of Service and the Privacy policy.
1. Nature of the content
trans-gov.net records information and evidence submitted by contributors and reviewed by the operator. An entry is a record of what has been reported and documented. It is not a finding of guilt, a criminal conviction, or a judgment of any court. Where an entry concerns alleged conduct, it should be read as an allegation supported by the evidence attached to it, to be assessed by the authorities and by the reader.
2. Accuracy
Every entry is reviewed and approved by the operator before it is published, and must be supported by a checkable source. The operator takes responsibility for what is published here. An entry is a documented allegation supported by the evidence attached to it, to be assessed by the reader and by the authorities — it is not a court verdict. If you believe an entry is inaccurate, use the corrections process in section 5 of the disclaimer; information shown to be false or unsupported will be corrected or removed.
3. No professional advice
Nothing on the Platform is legal advice. If you need to act on information here, including reporting it to the authorities or responding to an entry about yourself, consider seeking advice from the police or a qualified lawyer.
4. Sources and preserved copies
Entries cite external sources. Contributors provide the link to a source; the operator preserves an independent, archived copy of it — for example, a saved snapshot on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine — at the point of review. External websites are outside the operator's control and may change or disappear; the preserved copy is kept precisely so the record does not depend on the original staying online (Copies will be kept as a download as well in case of the worst happening), and shows what the source contained at the time it was captured. The operator takes responsibility for the material published on the Platform itself.
5. Corrections and removal
A person named on the Platform, or their representative, may request correction or removal of information about them by writing to palindromayd@trans-gov.net, as described in section 8 of the Terms of Service. Requests are reviewed in good faith, and information shown to be false or unsupported is corrected or removed.
