How to file
This registry is organized as a path. Each step narrows down where an entry belongs, and each step is its own page. If the page you need does not exist yet, type the name into the box on that page and it is created for you automatically. You never have to build a page by hand.
The path
Work down these steps in order:
- Platform — start on the main page and pick the platform the person operates on. Not listed? Type it into Add a new platform.
- Country letter — pick the first letter of the country. Green letters do not exist yet and are created when you click them; blue letters already have entries.
- Country — pick the country, or type it in if it is not there.
- City letter — pick the first letter of the city.
- City — pick the city, or type it in if it is not there.
- Person letter — pick the first letter of the name.
- Person — pick the individual, or type their name or handle in if they are not listed.
- Case — on the person's page, press Create case. Nothing to fill in: the case is numbered automatically (Case-00000000001, Case-00000000002, and so on).
What happens to a case
A case you create is held for review. It is saved, but it is not visible to the public and does not appear in any list until the operator has read it and published it. That review is done manually, by one person, so it is not instant.
If a case is not published, it is because it did not meet the rules below.
The rules
- Adults only. Entries may only document people aged 18 or over. Never submit identifying information about anyone under 18, whatever your age is. A concern involving a minor goes directly to the police or a child-protection authority, not here, but i suggest using the same schematics so that you can wrap your head around it.
- Truthful. Only submit what you believe to be true and can point to. Rumor and guesswork are not accepted.
- Sourced. Every case must point to a source that someone else can check — the page itself. Send the link with your submission or place it on the page. The operator preserves an independent archived copy at review, so the record survives even if the original is deleted.
- No private data beyond the purpose. General location so the matter can be referred to the police, yes. Account numbers, government ID numbers, medical records, home addresses — no.
- No harassment. This is a record for referral to the authorities. It is not a place to organise anything against anyone.
The full rules are in the Terms of Service.
Pages cannot be changed after they are created
Once a page exists, contributors cannot edit it — including pages they created themselves. This is deliberate: it means nothing already in the registry can be altered or wiped by an account.
So if you need to add detail to a case, correct a mistake, or supply your source link, send it to palindromayd@trans-gov.net with the case number, and the operator will make the change.
Before you start
You need an approved account. Requests are reviewed by hand and require a photo of yourself holding a note with today's date and the username you are registering. Your email address and that photo are never published — see the Privacy policy.
